This year begins my tenth year in education.  I started my career as a middle school science and math teacher in VT, and then moved to NC, where I taught middle school science.  After that, I taught 7th grade life science in MD for two years. 

I moved to Gainesvile, Virginia in 2004, when my husband and I got married, and we've lived here ever since with our dog, Maggie.  From 2004 - 2008, I taught pre-AP and AP Biology at Forest Park High School.  In September 2008, I became the ITRT at Bull Run Middle School.  As the ITRT, I assist teachers with integrating technology into their lessons.  I most look forward to working with students on their various technology projects.
